The Clay Guys...

...teach young artists in elementary schools the basics of working with clay. We teach workshops in Edmonton area elementary schools, where we bring the pottery studio to you. At the end of one of our workshops each student will have sculpted a clay project which we will fire in our kiln at our home studio, then return to you within three weeks ready for painting. It's as easy as that!

We strive to maintain a very low environmental impact. Wherever we can, we choose sustainablity by reusing unwanted items (like used boxes and newspaper for returning projects). No disposable items are used during workshops or in our studio at home.

We welcome you into our world and invite you to peruse our

site for inspiration and information!

The Clay Guys acknowledges the traditional land on which we reside and work, is in Treaty Six Territory. We would like to thank the diverse Indigenous Peoples whose ancestors’ footsteps have marked this territory for centuries, such as nêhiyaw / Cree, Dene, Anishinaabe / Saulteaux, Nakota Isga / Nakota Sioux, and Niitsitapi / Blackfoot peoples. We also acknowledge this as the Métis’ homeland and the home of one of the largest communities of Inuit south of the 60th parallel. It is a welcoming place for all peoples who come from around the world to share Edmonton as a home.
